Witte's Vegetable Farm

Witte's Vegetable Farm is a special place in Wisconsin where I grew up and learned my valuable work ethics. Small family farms are rapidly disappearing from the midwest. Witte's hopes to ensure a unique experience you will always remember, and hopefully inspire some future farmers.
While I have spent many years working on the land and harvesting along side my family, my part now is helping them tell their story visually to match the wholesome and passionate family business. My love of photography began with documenting the ins and outs of daily business and harvesting on multiple local farms. Supporting small businesses like this one is a big part of what drives my creative ambition.

Witte's Quilt

I was inspired by sketches made by another artist & friend, Casey Collins. The quilt was created as a celebration of the farm's 75th anniversary.  Each square represents a different vegetable.
The final quilt design was printed as a vinyl sticker and applied to a 4'x4' sheet of metal. It is displayed on the front of Witte's big red barn, where everyone can see it as they drive toward the farm.

Tagline Mural

Using Witte's well known tagline, I hand painted a vibrant color block version on the wall outside of their new commercial kitchen. It is meant to be a celebration Witte's brand and commitment to their community. The mural elevates the space that customers and valued employess will enter daily during the season. This hallway is also a gateway to a viewing area of the farm landscape behind the stand, connecting the high quality produce they sell with the land it was grown on.
